PRODUCT DETAILS
The new L.U.C XPS 1860 Officer harbours a wealth of secrets and symbols. On one side, an exceptionally refined hand-guilloché dial. On the other, an equally guilloché officer-type back cover that opens to reveal the ultra-thin L.U.C 96.01-L movement. Both engraving present a honeycomb motif. Attired in white gold, this elegant timepiece bearing both COSC and Poinçon de Genève certifications adorns the wrist with a blend of distinction and discretion.
Fully developed, produced and assembled in the Chopard High Watchmaking workshops, this COSC-certified chronometer, the self-winding L.U.C 96.01-L mechanical movement, is the first calibre developed by the Chopard Manufacture in 1996. It oscillates at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offers a 65-hour power reserve thanks to Twin technology, a system patented by Chopard that combines two coaxial barrels, a particularly remarkable technical achievement in light of the extreme slenderness of its 3.3 mm-thick movement. With the Seal of Geneva, this movement is wound by a micro-rotor in 22K gold.
