L.U.C QUATTRO, 43 mm

The L.U.C Quattro watch in 18-carat rose gold is a classic yet distinctive model. Beneath its refined brown dial, the generous 43 mm-diameter case houses the L.U.C Calibre 98.01-L, a tour de force that, despite its extreme finesse, has a 9-day power reserve, thanks to L.U.C Quattro technology. This model is not only chronometer-certified by the COSC, but also bears the prestigious Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark.

Entirely developed, produced and assembled in Chopard’s Fine Watchmaking workshops, the L.U.C 98.01-L calibre is the first manually-wound movement in the world to be formed of four barrels: two assemblies of two barrels, each with a 47 cm-long spring. The total spring length of 1.88 m allows the calibre to store enough energy to operate for 216 hours, or roughly 9 days. This exceptional autonomy is shown on the dial by a power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock. Another key characteristic of the calibre is its concentric date and small seconds display in a counter at 6 o’clock. The movement’s entirely hand-crafted finishes meet the quality requirements of the Poinçon de Genève.
