PRODUCT DETAILS
With new dials and a case featuring finely reworked details, the evolution of the L.U.C XPS collection subtly asserts itself as purer and more refined than ever. Its understated elegance is based on the finishing and flair for detail typical of the L.U.C collection. A number of variations on materials and colors make the new L.U.C XPS a collection from which each modern gentleman can select exactly the right model according to his personal style.
Fully developed, produced and assembled in the Chopard High Watchmaking workshops, this COSC-certified chronometer, the self-winding L.U.C 96.01-L mechanical movement, is the first calibre developed by the Chopard Manufacture in 1996. It oscillates at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offers a 65-hour power reserve thanks to Twin technology, a system patented by Chopard that combines two coaxial barrels, a particularly remarkable technical achievement in light of the extreme slenderness of its 3.3 mm-thick movement. With the Seal of Geneva, this movement is wound by a micro-rotor in 22K gold.
